This whole topic may be moot (for me, anyway). I received an email suggesting that my mirror is so thick that a 6-point cell will suffice. The chart on this site states that a slightly smaller and thinner mirror (16" diameter, 3" thick) has a P-V of 1/53. My 16.5 x 3.5 won't be far from that.
