Hello all
  Here is a link to an online manual.  The US army's Fundamentals of 
Machine Tools.  Covers the basics of machine tool operations.  It is in 
pdf format and is downloadable and printable is you like.  A good 
resource for any budding machinists here that want to make their own 
scope parts.  This is a pretty up to date version (1996) but there are 
also some older texts around if anyone is interested.  Gives you an 
appreciation of how much and how little things can change :-)
