[ATM] Telescope Emulation Software

Does anyone know of any software to run on a PC that accepts Alt-AZ 
coordinates or encoder pulses from my dob telescope and scrolls thru a 
map or representation of the sky. Once calibrated, this system would act 
like a finder scope to help locate stars and deep sky objects on the 
monitor that are hard to find thru the limited field of view of an 
optical finder. I've searched through several Sky & Tel and Astronomy 
issues for such software without much success.
