Hi Jim,
As usual in my posts, I can't type fast enough to keep up with what I am
thinking.  I don't use the Ronchi test to detect astigmatism.  My highest
magnification eyepiece and the star test shows astigmatism, if it is there.
Straight lines in Ronchi, I have been told, will only exist in a parabolic
mirror. This is true of this mirror.  Additional star testing over the last
three nights has confirmed this. (Can you believe three clear nights in a
row?)
