[ATM] Coma question

Hi, I am doing astrophotography using a 300D digital camera
mounted on a guiding platform and using off-axis guiding.

My scope is f/4 and i use a Paracorr to correct coma,
so the photographic field is fine.

My problem is with guide stars, very comatic as you might imagine,
their light spread into a cone of light, making fainter potential guide
stars disappear.

I cannot use the paracorr to correct the photographic field
and the guide field at the same time.

Is there a simple way to "improve " the off axis appearance
of stars in off-axis situation ?
like a weak tilted simple lens for example ?
just a guess....

I do not need diffraction limited performance, just rounder,
 more concentrated star images.

Thanks in advance,

Jean-Guy Moreau
