Hi David,
I go down to 5 micron before switching to CEO and pitch.  Some people only
go down to 9 micron before switching.  If you switch too soon, you may never
get it polished out.  45 minutes at 9 micron and 30 minutes at 5 micron will
save you many hours of polishing.  You should be able to read normal text
through your mirror with the mirror several inches above the text when it is
ready to start polishing.  Don't get discouraged.  This is fun, remember?
