OK, read the above, but with "mirror" and "as abrasive grit" in place of the 
two "..."s. Better yet, substitute "telescope" and "as MDF" or "as power 
tools" for the two "..."s.

I'm not advocating "semi-ignorance" or risky behavior, but building something 
with your own two hands, to learn about it, is why I'm an ATM.
