[ATM] Slow progress,

Hi all,
I repeated the test with my diagonal, this time with the diagonal in the
correct position near the mirror.  It isn't perfect.  I can detect a very
slight bend in the lines, plus a disturbance in the line that crosses a
minor scratch.  I have no way to measure the toatal bend but it appears to
be much less than the width of a single line.  They also do not hook at the
edge of the mirror. So, I am calling this done and continuing with the
primary, which, thanks to help from the list, I have found out that it was
only 1/3 parabolized, and according to my last Ronchi Tests, I am now about
90% parabolized.  -0.9 insted of -1 in the conic k= field makes the mirror
match the computer display.  As it is, it is very close all the way
from -0.3 to .5, excluding the very center, I can't tell a difference, nor
can my friend.  At the very center, the lines don't quite curve as much as
they should.  Very close and hard to see unless the tester is showing at
least 8 lines, then I can see that they are straighter than they should be.
More 1 minute parabolization sessions are in order.  One session per 24
hours.  I am not hurrying this, this time.
