Re: [ATM] Ronchi testing



Hi Jerry,
I know this is probably obvious, since this is not your first mirror...  but
how stable is your testing setup, and your tester itself? I had problems
testing my mirror if I leaned or put any weight on the desk holding the
tester.  Even carpet on the floor can be a problem if people walk near your
setup..
Could your tester be sticky, or have a loose knife edge so that you can not
reproduce your readings?


Also is it possible to use a grating to star test the mirror in it's cell?
Ronchi lines should be straight when looking at a bright star.
