Re: [ATM] Ronchi testing
Jerry,
For a 16.5" mirror, you should use an 80 line per inch screen.
I ran your mirror through ronwin20 and used the following settings.
Size: 16.5 F-Ratio: 4.53 #Lines: 80 Offset: -0.13
Make sure you hit the display ronchigram command after changing the
settings. Also, make sure to enter the offset with the leading zero.
You should now see a total of six dark bars. Concentrate, however, on the
white ones.
Using your ronchi tester, move the tester toward the mirror from ROC until
you see the same number of lines in roughly the same position. If the lines
are curving too much inward to get anywhere close to this image, then you
are seriously over-corrected.

Hi Vladimir,
Obviously, I can't do Ronchi testing right either. The test program I am
using, Ronwin20, shows three lines either side of center when I set it for
the parameters of the mirror.
16.5" diamter. 149.5 ROC. 100 lines per inch grating. 0 offset.
What is wrong?
Clear skies, Jerry
