Yes, floating the mirror on dabs of silicone (RTV) is generally the way
to go.  Some people put a BB in each dab, some don't.

By the way, mirror supports, arrangement and number of silicone dabs, as
well as other methods are fairly common topic on this list but you might
be interested in knowing there are searchable archives that are vary
