One of the flatter paints available is the Krylon Ultra Flat Black paint.
The baffles are easy to figure on a refractor as you just draw up a picture
of the inside of the scope with the objective diameter at one end of the
tube and the focuser diameter at the other end of the tube and you then
start putting baffles in there to the diameter that is needed. There is a
website that goes through the details of where to place the baffles and why.
I don't remember the site name but a bit of googling will find it.
