RE: [ATM] flexing




Hi Guido,

Do you have a focal length in mind yet? Judging by your comment re
planets and fainter objects you would do well to aim for a mid range F
ratio such as F/5 to F/6. I have to say at this point that I don't have
much experience with flexed mirrors so this should only be taken as a
general comment. 

What I do know is the deeper the curve, lower F number, the more pull is
required. I would aim for the f/6ish mirror as this should be easier to
pull. I could be wrong here so if anyone knows this topic better than I
could you wiegh in now, please, Bill Kelly what would you say?
