There's a guy selling plans for a binocular chair.  I've seen him at
Stellafane a few years back.  I don't know if he's gotten on the web yet
with the plans or at all even.
The chair uses only stuff that you pick up from the Home Depot or Lowes
stores and assembles fairly quickly.  It would be easy to put a small motor
onto the turning part and make it motorized.  The binoc position in alt.
would be a lot more difficult as the linkage is a bit complex for doing that
kind of stuff.
