[Fwd: ATM refractor baffle]



...So if traditional baffles are better, is the rule-the more baffles
the better?
Also what tolerances are allowable around the light cone?  What is an
infinite baffle?

The problem is that glancing reflections are hard to completely stop.  The
best way to stop them is with baffles that are face onto the glancing rays,
hence, the traditional series of baffle rings.
