Needless to say, they need to get the info.  I assumed that they'd be trying
to measure mountains on the edge of the moon rather than the possibility of
measuring one in a crater (are you sure that the surrounding surface is
flat?).  After Matt's mention of it, I remember having seen a few episodes
of it, starting in the middle and going away after a bit as something else
was due to come on.
I do think that the comet idea will be a nice one as it will be a good
target point for the science.  Not only that but the math involved in doing
a orbital path would be a good one.  Shades of telling the N nitwit that has
been on SAA, etc. where she went wrong.
I hope that the guy gets enough emails to understand what a mess he just got
himself into!
