I just completed my 10" along with lots of help/advice from Jerry Wilkinson (has figured over 1500 mirrors for Galaxy Optics) and he had me do tool on top to -Cure- a slight turned edge. It worked (he stated that he only uses tool on top to cure a turned edge). Definitely the strokes must be kept to 1/3 or slightly shorter. Also, as always, the lap MUST be in good contact (I have learned this the hard way).
