Ken, Just a sidebar, Your adhesive sounds like "Barge Cement". It will glue just about anything together. Shoe makers use it to make thicker leather pieces, such as soles. It is pliable and pretty much weather proof. I think it is difficult, but not impossible to seperate. It can be used to produce a very thin bond line if needed. But I think Sillycone would work better (just MHO).
