I know what you mean. For years now I have been buying them up at bookstores and booksales and giving them away to budding glass pushers. I have two sets, one with the original V.II articles (Zernike test and all) and the more recent edition where that was replaced. If I get any more I'll make them available on the BB.

PS-The U. of AZ library had an original edition of ATM (when it was just one volume) on its shelf with a letter from Ingalls to one of the contributors glued onto the inside cover and it was signed by that contributor! (I believe the contributor was the fellow that built the refractor in that volume.) At any rate, I suggested that they might want to put the book in Special Collections before it disappeared!
