It depends on how good a mirror you are after. You get what you pay for (rarely more). I know of a mirror maker who will produce a truly fine mirror (but for a bit more than even Galaxy). If you are interested, call Jerry at J.C. Wilkinson Optics at (303)499-7662. I have looked through many scopes with his mirrors in them and have seen quantitive data on a couple. He used to be the senior optician at Galaxy (for 7 years) and is now doing mirrors on his own. You can certainly buy cheaper mirrors, but I know of no other way to get this quality of mirror.
