For the group as a whole - this is a much faster scope (f/4.7) than I am used to. My refractor is an f/11... The views through the 10.5 and even the 27mm MA were OK on the new scope given the light pollution and the collimation. Where am I likely to have the most trouble, and need fancy eyepieces - at high magnification or low? I bought the Pan Optic mostly for the wide field, and because things were *so* nice through it on Chuck's 24" :-).
Good luck on the finder. All I had mounted on Saturday was the Telrad. I feel crippled without the Telrad - highly recommended, no matter what kind of finder scope you have.
