Abrasive size classification

Does anyone know how to classify an abrasive size based on the particle size distribution? Also, is the classification standard between manufacturers?

For example, what would the classification be of the following PSD? (note: this is an optical quality abrasive)

Size (Micron) %

48 .37 summary: 10%=10.54 40 .80 50%=15.85 34 1.93 90%=24.62 28.5 4.37 24 8.87 20 15.18 17 20.78 14 20.84 12 14.51 10 7.29 8.5 2.97 7 1.21 6 .56 5 .32

I would like this info so I can purchase material to fill in the gaps in an (unlabeled) optical quality abrasive series. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
