Unfortunately, it seems that there is a definite risk for professional people (late Bob Cox but only example). I am not medically knowleageable enough to comment on probabilities and effects, but danger IS definitely there.
I am not aware of any industry regulations and rules, but we've got few professionals reading this group, and I'd be extremely interested to see their comments here.
