an additional using for glassboard is as a dry erase marker white
Board. If you order the glassboard in "Frost White", you get a
seriously good white board for only 15+ dollars. It doesn't last as
long as the ceramic coated steel but mine has lasted for seven years
and counting.
Now, using this material as a finish cover for your telescope mount
raises the interesting image of using your mount as a white board for
recording observation plans for the evening. Just make sure that you
don't use a red marker. :-)
