They would probably focus but not work well. Eyepieces are designed for finite focus whereas camera lenses are corrected for infinite or very long focus. It's like using a copier lens for a finder. If you're not too critical it works O.K. but still the correction is not right and there are lots of noticable abberations. You get a similar problem when using microscope eyepieces on a telescope or vice versa.
