No need to be in a camp, it will be either a wave or a particle, depending
on the way you look at it.
Even a single photon will show self-interference if you do e.g. a double
slit experiment with a single photon per second or so.
Light appears to be particles when you convert it to something else, e.g.
with a photo multiplyer, a CCD, a photographic plate or even your eye.
