The sun, being a huge nuclear explosion, emits all kinds of
radioactivity besides light.  You are focusing these particles
also while you are looking at the sun with your telescope.  You
need to be very careful when dealing with the sun because of
these problems.
BTW, the Ozone Hole is opening up soon so wear your lead
underwear to make sure you can make babies in the future.  Also,
don't breath in the air as the Oxygen is radioactive!
