Actually, when you look at things, everything is radioactive!  It
just depends upon how fast the stuff cooks off.  I'll also note
that pure CeO is white, not a flesh or ornge color that you
usually see it.  There are contaminates in the CeO, , just like
there is in Barnsite.  Since Vanadium is a heavy metal, there are
alot of other variations of that heavy metal aloong with other
heavier metals that will get into the mix depending upon where
the Barnsite comes from.
For those who are paranoid about radioactivity, don't go near
granite or you will get zapped by the radioactivity from it!
