Is the edge raw or is it ground with the 80 grit?  If it is raw,
go back to the 80 grit and keep on diggingto get the ground
suurface out to the edge.  Either that or keep on grinding with
the 120 grit for a while.
If the edge is ground, you may want to go do some mirror on the
bottom for a bit to get the curve even all the way to the edge.
Also check the ROC and see if it is still decreasing in ROC.  You
may be supprised at what you see.
One way or the  ogher, you'll need to get the entire surface to
the 120 grit fineness of the ground surface before going to the
next grit.  If you don't, you'll end up with pits where you
didn't do so.
