[ATM] Six inch starter question

For a text, I'd recommend a new book published by Willmann Bell. The title
is "Making a Refractor Telescope" by Norman Remer. Don't let the title fool
you. The book is pound for pound the best buy on the ATM market today. It
is packed to the gills with useful information on everything related to
telescope making. The book, while specifically adressing refractor
telescopes, also speaks in great detail to reflector making. Mr. Remer is a
retired engineer with gift that allows him to communicate more in a few
words than many can say in an hour.  It is a good read. I have read the
book from cover to cover. I simply could not put it down!
