[ATM] Parabolising mirrors
Would it possible to start with a thin uniformly flat spherical mirror,
glue a small circle of appropriately thin material to the underneath
exact center of the glass
And then polish as per sphere?
Like thermal pre-distortion -- only using the weight of the tool to bend
the mirror and selectively polish the center more. Maybe even other
zones?
Has anyone tried this?
