All three of these programs find what surface you have, given a set 
of Foucault measurements.  You are essentially trying to do the 
reverse - what should the measurements be for a given surface?  That 
can be extremely messy, particularly for fixed source.  To get the

Just for fun, I'll try to solve the quadratic equation for F to get 
the measurements in Jonathan's senario...
