[ATM] Fine Grind already Blanchard ground mirror blank back?

I checked with the optician who figured my 32? and had actually first polished (not just fine ground ) the mirror back flat, before figuring.

He said he adopts that process for a few reasons. First, it would prevent the mirror from sticking to or binding to the cell support points. ( Delrin hemispherical ). He was of the view that polishing the back may release any surface strain from the Blanchard ground back. Also, polishing the mirror back might possibly improve long term stability, as there might possibly be an effect if the finish of two surfaces of the mirrors differed.

And lastly, it looks good. : )
