There's a reason why f/6 is recommended decade after decade: the best
compromise between high resolution viewing and wide angle deep sky viewing.
You can use a 2 inch super wide angle eyepiece and have an RFT, yet with a
5mm + Barlow, go for highest power viewing.
In any event, on your first mirror, you'll be fortunate to hit within a
focal ratio # of what you want. Aim for f/6 to f/7 but don't be surprised
if it's heading where it wants to go!
