My source in California was Abrasives Unlimited (San Leandro).
They stopped taking my faxes and emails. When I finally reached
them they exaplained that they no longer were willing to take
orders for Microgrit products or Gugolz pitch. Quantity made no
difference (I asked about larger orders). This was straight from
the owner in this past year. Microgrit itself is not easy to
contact, but you can try. They have a lengthy form online, which
I filled in, but they have never answered me. I guess you can try.
I would like to know of another source for the very fine SiC. The
larger sizes are considerably easier to find. A lot of industrial
processes use vast amounts of the larger sizes so I usually can
find these through sandblasting suppliers, etc. The fine SiC has
been very problematic to find (#600 - #1200). Anyway, here is the
