Don't forget that the local GOODWILL, Salvation Army, church donation stores etc will have picture frames for sale, usually they can be purchased at 0.25 or so. They also have those old coffee pots that you can melt your pitch in, glass dishware for other purposes too. Yard sales, auctions, flea markets, surplus stores are also good places to find telescope making goodies.
