Lack of suitable glass for backing up a trepanning operation???
Go to a glass store and look in the trash bin for a piece of
glass or ask the people there for a piece of broken glass the
size you need and don't forget to tell them what you're doing
with it and they'll probably give you a nice piece for free.
Even a piece of tempered glass will work although it would be
hard to find a piece that small.
