That's a lot of precision holes Richard!
I did two holes that are somewhat precision as the second hole
got drilled through the indicator support and the baseplate at
the same time - more precision than is really necessary.  All of
the rest of the holes in my baseplate were drilled by eye on
lines, two crossways to the line of the radii of the circles to
hold the edge pins, and the rest on the approximate radius, minus
a bit  to be inside the edge of the glass,   I didn't even pull
out my calipers to make sure that any of the holes had any
precision but rather just drilled them.  I did use the depth stop
on the drill press for the holes tho as I didn't want to go
through the baseplate.  Maybe I need to fire up my new 5Mp camera
($25.01 on eBay( and take some pictures and write a short article
on the wedge tester and the thickness tester.
Both of the testers were so easy to build with just the drill
press (that gets holes vertical for me!) that I spent more time
futzing around than actually doing any work.
