If you're interested Jim Seevers (who was the only "real" astronomer at the
Adler, until they got rid of him) has "inherited" the optical shop.
Actually, the CAS inherited it, but he runs it out of a warehouse in
Lansing, IL (about 45 min south of downtown.) He usually has mirror making
classes on Saturday's. His email is jseevers8736 at msn dot com. Drop him an
email, I'm sure he wouldn't mind you dropping by.
