Anything that is sort of waterproof will do fine.  The wider
tapes are the ones you need because you  are going to be making a
tool about 1" or so thick and need to thus have a dam that high
over the mirror.
I tend to use vertical blind material which is about 3" wide and
just tape it at the outer end where it overlaps the beginning of
the material.  Waterproof is the need and gaps tend not to matter
too much as the pourable stone is fairly thick and won't go down
into fine gaps very much.
