A picture of the Ronchi would help.  That might help us to know if your 
readings are reliable.  I once machine polished out a mirror for some 
one  that read in FEET.  Took a few days.

First, when a mirror that far out, short sessions with good pressings in 
between is recomended.  You have to make sure your lap is changing shape 
too.

1/3 means a 1/6 overhang on each side.  For a 6 inch mirror that means 1 
inch overhang.  You could draw a circle on the back of your mirror if 
that would help estimate the stroke.
