I have used OptiClean polymer optics cleaner. I got it many years ago at
RTMC, but haven't seen it for sale at RTMC since. OptiClean worked well but
was sometime difficult to remove without leaving pieces, similar to USP
Collodion. I found it is best to put down a layer of cheesecloth and cover
the cheesecloth with USP collodion. That way the solid collodion comes off
in one piece. USP collodion is available in 500ml size from Fisher
Scientific.
