If anyone finds more out about the  blanks, I hope they post it to satisfy my curiosity.  I posted it because, although I was interested, shipping was $500+ and the description  incomplete.  I was hoping an AMT'er near Albuquerque could expore this opportunity better, but I guess I didn't post it soon enough!

That said, I think the glass was Pyrex or possibly even a better low expansion glass.  Certainly not plate.   I said 24"+ conservatively based on the dimensions listed which I assumed was for the crate.  However I think the blanks were likely closer to 30" in size, particularly since the weight was listed at 250 pounds each crated.  When I talked to a shipper, they said weights listed on the Government liquidation web site were usually accurate.  If so, either they may have been very thick blanks or very large.  I did send an e-mail requesting dimensions of the blanks, but it wasn't answered.
