I am very interested in those recommendations and arguments for specific
recommendation.
Obviously with very coarse grit you will be there very fast. But taking out
resulting
big pits will decrease starting advantage. What is optimal combination. That
is
one which will minimize the total grinding time. Is there one at all, or
will any starting
grit result in the same total time?
I am sure no one in his right mind will do such experiments with one mirror.
But perhaps the answer is already known from professional circles.
