The point of this thread, I believe, is the exact opposite: We start 
with an uncollimated system and want to bring it from there to a well 
collimated state. This is a fairly trivial task with a Newtonian, 
with 
only two optical axes to adjust, and misalignment of only one of them 
causing coma (and none causing spherical aberration). In the 
cassegrain, there are three axes to get aligned... and one critical 
distance between elements, a requirement that does not apply to the 
Newtonian.
