I ran across a government liquidation auction site that currently has a
listing for what appear to be 4 large (24"+) Corning lens blanks (Event
1778, Lot 6801).  The auction ends Tuesday.   Currently the bidding is at
$60 for all 4 blanks.  Given that they list the gross lot weight at 1000
pounds and it's near Albuquerque, NM, I can't explore the opportunity
adequately.  Just thought I'd pass it along in case someone closer is
interested in large blanks at a potentially give away price.
