I have comment on this.
Beta testers should not necessarily be only skilled programmers, mathematicians or
physicists.
"Normal" users are also required in order to detect hidden "user unfriendliness" or details
which often escape well trained eyes as "obvious". This kind of responses will also
help substantially in writing HELP or tutorial, better adapted to the viewpoints of users.
