Unfortunately, video cameras are suitable only for looking at the
moon and the bright planets at the best.  If that is what you are
interested in, go ahead and adapt the camera for prime focus
imaging.
The video cameras just aren't sensitive enough unless you have
one of the expensive intensified ones.
