Re: [ATM] zone one challenge
interestingly I picked J/K. with a preference to J. The method is
purely subjective and probably incorrect but the thought process works
like this (realizing I've never yet successfully made a mirror)
I pretty much ignore the outer edge of the zone and try to find a
"balance" between the light and dark sides of the image. In image J the
dark area on the left seems to be in balance with the light area on the
right.
Perhaps a description of the other images and why I reject them would
make more sense
D. The RHS seems too dark to be balanced
G. Still falls into the same category
J. Has a balance to the light/shadow it also appears to have a good
curve to the surface
K. Now that I take a second look seems too bright on the right
Lookin back at it again part of the "balance" I'm looking for is a
reduced contrast between the two sides e.g. in A the LHS is much
brighter than the RHS and in O the opposite is true. The middle images
have a much less dramatic difference between light and dark.
It would be interesting to perform the same test without the images in
order as we have a guide when we are 1/2 way through the list of images.
