Dan, that isn't relavant to the question.
I'd say the software engineeer as he knows that he can have infinite redos
until the gets it right.  Then he drops the screwdriver into the ruuning
electronics and watches the smoke come out with the sparking and the banging
and wonders what happened.
The hardware engineer knows that he's in a strange land and tends not to go
and do stupid things.
I'm the electronics tech that fixes all of the mistakes of the engineers and
have been there and done that.
